Requirements

·       Board certified or board eligible in General Surgeon with bariatric training.  If board eligible, must be on the path to Board Certification. 

·       Must be willing to “start-up” a bariatric program

·       Prefer someone with experience starting up a program.

·       Income guarantee model or employment model with excellent income potential

·       Hospital Call is 10 days per month

·       Back-up via the 2 existing General Surgeons

Financial Package (ALL POINTS NEGOTIABLE BASED ON CANDIDATES NEEDS)

·       Starting salary of $440K+ for the first year.  (Negotiable based on skills and experience.)

·       $20K in sign on bonus.

Generous income guarantee opportunity. 

Income ranges of $300,000 to $350,000 can be expected based upon experience, education and/or training.

Benefits:  3 weeks vacation, 1 week CME plus $2,500, in addition to monies

Joint venture out-patient surgery center investment available and expected to be completed by December 2009. 

Upon meeting prospective physician, call will be shared with 2 other physicians, ED call would be 1:4.
